This North Carolina native is the glue that holds the Jamboree Band together. Mark showed a love and talent for music at an early age when he would pull the pots and pans to the floor, then grabbed two wooden spoons and started laying down the funk. Mark’s musical career began in the sixth grade; winning talent shows and musical awards all the way through to his high school years. During his senior year, he played timpani in the All-State Symphonic Band. After graduating high school, Mark hit the road where he played with numerous bands and many musicians all over the United States, Canada and the Islands in the Caribbean. In our opinion, Mark is one of the best drummers in the music business and certainly one of the best persons one would ever want to work with. His positive attitude and approach to every rehearsal and every show is admired among the band members as well as the entire cast. He is one of those “quiet leaders” who leads by example, and we are blessed to have him here at The Jamboree. Nashville would refer to him as a player from the ‘A’ list.
